Project Overview
CompX manufactures cabinet locks across facilities in the United States. The site needed to tame a huge catalog and serve both engineers and end users. We rebuilt the information architecture, created navigation that surfaces specs fast, and organized resources by audience. The result is a clean, searchable catalog that makes choosing the right locking solution simple.
Technical Overview
Built on a WordPress foundation with jquery powering the frontend, styled with bootstrap. Performance is solid with a 3458ms page load time. First contentful paint occurs at 2009ms, ensuring users see content quickly.
Functionality
The site includes comprehensive navigation, mobile-responsive menu, site-wide search, contact forms, blog/content management, video content, image galleries, and social media integration for comprehensive functionality.
